SONOTIZ AT

Soundproofing & Thermal Mat for Floors, Walls and Ceilings

Purpose

High-density fiberglass solution made to кeduce impact noise, structure-borne vibrations and heat loss in modern buildings — with one flexible, high-performance material.

Description

SONOTIZ AT is a high-density insulation mat made of pressed E-glass fibers, protected by spunbond layers. It’s engineered to isolate vibration, reduce impact and airborne noise, and improve thermal performance - all in a compact 12 mm profile. The material is non-combustible (Euroclass A2-s1,d0), hydrophobic, VOC-safe and extremely durable. Used for floating screeds, acoustic wall lining or part of multi-layer soundproof systems.

Application

Typical placement:

- Under screed in floating floor systems

- Behind drywall as standalone acoustic lining

- Inside stud walls with mineral wool

- As part of complex soundproofing assemblies (multi-layer systems)

- Technical zones, plant rooms, cinemas, media rooms

Building types:

- Residential apartments and houses

- Commercial spaces (offices, hotels, conference rooms)

- Public buildings (schools, hospitals, administrative)

- Industrial facilities (production halls, machinery enclosures)

- Retrofit and renovation projects

General Overview

SONOTIZ AT is a professional-grade soundproofing and thermal insulation mat, trusted by contractors, architects, and acoustic engineers across Europe. It is widely used in certified multilayer systems for walls, floors, and ceilings - both in new construction and renovation projects.

At the same time, SONOTIZ AT is lightweight, easy to handle, and safe to cut, making it equally suitable for DIY use in home studios, private apartments, or office upgrades. Even first-time users can quickly learn to install it with basic tools and simple guidelines.

Combining technical performance with user-friendly installation, SONOTIZ AT bridges the gap between professional systems and accessible acoustic improvement.

Advantages how it works? Key benefits

How It Works

SONOTIZ AT uses three mechanisms:

Mass Effect: high surface density blocks footfall noise

Elasticity: flexible core dampens vibrations

Multilayer Separation: each layer weakens and reflects sound energy

Combined, this creates a powerful barrier against both airborne and impact noise, while adding thermal insulation and mechanical stability under finishes.

Key Benefits

- 24 dB impact sound reduction (ΔLw, ISO 10140)

Up to 48 dB airborne sound insulation in wall systems
Fire-resistant A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1)
Thermal conductivity λ ≈ 0.02 W/m·K
Lightweight, flexible, easy to install
No fiber migration, no binders, no irritation
Hydrophobic surface – moisture-safe
Compatible with standard adhesives, tapes and fasteners

Floor Insulation Systems

Installed in:
– SonoFloor Basic
– SonoFloor Pro
In floor setups, SONOTIZ AT is laid under screed to isolate footfall noise and structural vibration. It ensures durable, floating floor performance — with or without additional damping layers.
Recommended Applications

Floating screed floors in apartments, offices, hospitals, schools

Lightweight partitions and wall upgrades in renovations

Studios, theaters, conference and media rooms

Under raised floors, machine bases or building plant rooms

Anywhere sound reduction and fire safety are both required

Instalation

SONOTIZ AT is designed for quick and flexible installation across walls, floors, and ceilings in both residential and commercial buildings.

It can be applied:

Under screed in floating floors to reduce impact noise and vibration

Behind drywall as a standalone acoustic and thermal lining
