SONOTIZ BLOCK

Soundproofing panels for airborne sound insulation.

Purpose

High-performance sound insulation panel designed to reduce impact noise, airborne noise, and absorb Soundproofing echo.

Description

A slim but durable cellulose-based panel with a corrugated structure, filled with quartz sand. Combines mass, elasticity, and stratification to block all major types of noise with minimal loss of usable space.

Application

Used in walls, ceilings, floors, and partitions for civil and industrial buildings. Ideal for spaces requiring high soundproofing: studios, cinemas, residential rooms.

Delivery Forms

Panels: 0.8 m x 1.2 m (0.96 m²)

Thickness: 12 mm or 14 mm

Weight: 16.5–18.5 kg/m²

General Overview

SONOTIZ BLOCK is an innovative sound insulation panel designed for environments that demand high acoustic performance. Thanks to its thin profile, high density, and layered internal structure, it offers exceptional protection against both airborne and impact noise — with minimal loss of usable space.

The panel is made of wood fiber shaped into a wavy structure and filled with finely ground quartz filler. This combination of materials and design ensures effective damping of sound waves of various frequencies.

Ideal for use in residential, commercial, and technical spaces, especially where increasing wall or ceiling thickness is not feasible — such as in renovations, recording studios, offices, or hotels.

How It Works

SONOTIZ BLOCK utilizes three simultaneous noise reduction mechanisms:

1.

Mass – Heavy quartz filler absorbs the energy of sound waves.

2.

Plasticity – The wavy cellulose structure partially deforms and absorbs vibrations.

3.

Stratification – Alternating layers with different densities and shapes break up the wave path.

Thanks to this structure, the panel efficiently reduces:

  • Impact noise (footsteps, object drops): up to 33 dB
  • Airborne noise (speech, music, electronics): up to 36 dB
  • Reverberation (echo): critical in studios, conference rooms, media spaces

SONOTIZ BLOCK is perfect for spaces where noise control and privacy are critical. It is particularly recommended for:

  • Internal and partition walls in residential buildings

  • Office spaces, meeting rooms, call centers
  • Medical and therapy rooms
  • Hotels, premium apartments, quiet sleeping areas
  • Projects with tight limits on construction thickness

Installation Guidelines

Installation of SONOTIZ BLOCK panels is simple and does not require special equipment:

1.

Surface preparation: clean, smooth, and fill all gaps and cracks

2.

Adhesion: apply glue uniformly without air pockets

3.

Sealing: use fire-rated silicone + acoustic tape at all joints

4.

Mechanical fixation: optional dowels for extra security

5.

Cutting: easy to trim with a utility knife, saw, or grinder

Tip: For best results, acclimate the panels in the installation area for at least 24 hours prior to mounting.

Storage & Handling

  • Store horizontally, never upright
  • Keep away from moisture and unheated storage spaces
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high heat
  • Protect from bending or impact during transportation
