Vibro-Tape SONOFOL PE is a self-adhesive polyethylene tape designed to minimize vibration transfer and structural noise in drywall constructions. By decoupling metal profiles (C-D and U-D) from walls, floors, and ceilings, it significantly improves the acoustic performance of soundproofing systems.
Available in four standard widths — 30 mm, 45 mm, 70 mm, and 90 mm — this tape is engineered for flexibility in all types of installation, whether on structural profiles or along perimeter surfaces.

Application Guidelines
Narrow Widths (30 mm / 45 mm)
- Applied directly onto C-D and U-D profiles before plasterboard or acoustic panel installation
- Prevents direct contact between profiles and gypsum boards
- Ideal for interior drywall partition systems and suspended ceilings
Wide Widths (70 mm / 90 mm)
- Installed beneath perimeter profiles where U-profiles touch the wall, floor, or ceiling
- Prevents perimeter vibration transfer
- Recommended in multi-layer or decoupled wall assemblies
