SonoFloor Basic
What it solves:
Reduces impact sound transmission from footsteps and dropped objects, while providing thermal insulation under the screed. Ideal for apartments, multi-level homes, and renovation projects.
System Composition:
SONOTIZ AT
(12mm) laid directly over the structural subfloor
Sealed at joints and perimeter with
SONOBOND GLUE
and/or tape
Screed layer (cement-based or anhydrite) poured directly over the insulation
Final floor finish applied over screed (laminate, tile, parquet, etc.)
Main Functions:
Impact sound absorption
Thermal insulation
Acts as a decoupling layer between floor structure and screed
Estimated Thickness:
SONOTIZ AT: 12 mm
Screed layer: standard based on project (~40–60 mm)
